Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Malaysia Truly Asia

July 12, 2016

Blessed with beaches, forests and all of nature’s bounty, Malaysia, in many ways, lives up to its reputation of being ‘truly Asia". A visit to Malaysia isn’t complete unless you’ve spent a few days touring and eating your way through the capital city, Kuala Lumpur. KL’s mix of cultures (India, Chinese, Malay, and Western) creates a unique blend of food, shopping, and nightlife.

Well would you believe I've managed to convince myself to climbed up those stairs? I wasn't able to take a victory photo though because one I was too preoccupied on thinking how am I going to go down with those steep stairs and primarily because I've found myself too haggard to even take a photo.
The city's gallery houses tons of miniature models of Kuala Lumpur's cityscape. Not only is this a gallery but you could also buy souvenirs. The staff was not just creating models from the city but also famous landmarks around the world.
Ofcourse the trip wasn't complete without taking my little girl to Legoland. For a moment I felt like a giddy 5 year old with her. Everything was just made out of legos and that must have been so tiring to assemble.
Kuala Lumpur reflects progress yet retains its roots. From historical mosques to lavish malls, there’s plenty to see and do in ‘KL’. Don’t miss out on sampling street food, shopping for bargains and soaking in the unique flavour of the city.
